I got hip checked at work today! *_* This guy- kind of a friend of a friend- was walking past me and all the sudden he's like "OMGZ HIP CHECK YALL!!!1!" And... yeah. Rofl. :D He's a sweeatheart, though. He gave me a hug and was all long time, no see. I've met him like, twice before and he treats me like an old friend, lol.

Another thing about today, I can't decide if I'm in love with Jacob or Jasper more. Maybe... Jacob? But then again, maybe Jasper. But not book Jasper. My badass warrior Jasper from Burn The City Down, which is this CRAZY Twilight AU I'm writing.

Oh, and I'm also in love with this adorable boy who came into work yesterday. *G* Cuteness.

Today, I believe, I am in love with Jacob Black. Interesting- since two days ago I was in love with Edward and yesterday I was in love with... Jasper.

Which I find extremely fascinating because, well, I've never really had much inclination towards Jasper. As a Cullen, and Alice's husband, I love him by default, of course. But I'e never fangirled over him before! It was actually quite fun, lol. I think stemmed from re-reading Eclipse and that part about how he became a vampire. Not the military stuff- the vampire warrior stuff. Omg, I am so twisted. *does not care* And for the record: Jackson Rathbone is not my Jasper. (Sorry, dude!) My Jasper is...

But anyway, I'm in love with Jacob today. And Taylor Lautner, although utterly adorable and a good choice, is NOT my Jacob. Nor is Steven Strait, although he used to be. No, my Jacob exists only in my head. And he's glorious. *drool* And my Edward is, surprisingly enough, Robert Pattinson! :D I can actually picture him, and Kristen Stewart, as I read the books.

Now the eternal question: Edward or Jacob?

I adore Edward. He is practically perfect in every way. (Hee hee, Edward Poppins! ;P) He's a gentleman and clearly devoted to the girl he loves. He's wonderful.

But Jacob... And it's not just my current bias- this is something I've always thought- is better, I think. Everytime I re-read the series I fall for Edward in Twilight and Jacob in New Moon.

Reasons I love Jacob the most:
He's warm. I'm cold by nature, so the idea of a guy who is constantly warm is just so appealing to me. And Edward is like ice.
He has a temper. Okay, I understand that as a werewolf, that' technically a bad thing. But I think tempers are extremely attractive in a man. Probably because all the guys I know are amazingly mellow. -_- But it's not like he's constantly angry, or he's ever really lost control. And it takes alot to provoke Edward, granted he has had a hundred years of practice.

Among various other reasons. Don't get me wrong- I love Edward. I wouldn't reject him if he showed up on my doorstep. But given my druthers... I'd pick Jacob. Simple as that.

And I think one of the biggest things is that I wouldn't have to choose him over my family. Bella has to abandon everything in order to be with Edward. I don't think I could do that. I'm very attached to my family and my friends. And with Jacob there would be no choice. I could have my cake and eat it, too. ;)

And thus ends my rambling post about Twilight, Jasper, Edward and Jacob. Why do I feel as if I kind of betrayed Edward just now? 0_0

Through a feat of unimaginable stupidity, I deleted my last entry. *headdesk* And it had such a lovely comment from Joya on it! :( Sometimes, I wonder how I manage to even turn my computer on.

I've never before attempted fanart simply for the sake of making fanart. But I really, really like it. My first piece is from the film Hitman. I started out trying to make a new layout for lookpretty.org but it totally flopped. So I decided to morph into a little piece of fanart. Sometimes I think te text is a little large and awkward, but overall I'm happy with it. :)

My second piece is in the Smallville fandom. And it's, no surprise, a Clois piece. The lyrics I used are from Mark Joseph's Fly, which played during the Clois scene at the end of Lucy. I've always thought that song was really fitting for them. And I made the manip of Clark and Lois myself, and I'm really proud of it. :)
